Professional training is aimed at enhancing knowledge and technical-operational skills to promote effective communication with customers. Regulations are designed to strengthen the professional skills of training and refresher course participants.
Professional training participants must complete no less than 60 hours of training in the 12 months preceding the date of submission of the application form. The training acquired remains valid for the purpose of re-inclusion in sections C or E of the RUI or the resumption of the activity if the inactivity does not continue for more than 5 years. Those who deal with the activity of intermediation and who require registration in sections C or E of the RUI, the employees of the intermediation activity within the premises in which the intermediary operates, and the employees of the call centers of the intermediaries who use them are required to undergo training. The training course conclude with a test to verify the knowledge acquired. The test is carried out exclusively in the classroom and is considered passed if at least 60% of the questions are answered correctly.
All those registered in sections A, B, C, E of the R.U.I., those in charge of intermediation within the premises where the intermediary operates, and those in charge of call centres are required to undergo professional updating. The update is conducted every two years starting from 1 January of the year following the year of enrollment in the RUI. Participants must complete no less than 30 hours of professional training during the year. The training and refresher courses conclude with a test to verify the knowledge acquired. The test is carried out exclusively in the classroom and is considered passed if at least 60% of the questions are answered correctly.
